Aussie Vineyards Tamborine Mountain

Aussie Vineyards - Mount Tamborine is surrounded by a sanctuary of magnificent wildlife, fresh mountain air, lush fragrant gardens and spectacular views. Our 1st class cellar door and newly established vineyard can be found in the midst of these treasures and is open for complimentary wine tasting and sales between 10am to 4pm daily.

Formerly known as Tamborine Estate, the property's location is known as Mt Tamborine's oldest vineyard, with its original establishment back in 1992. The fruit quality generated from this vineyard is extra special and can be attributed to the historic secrets which lie beneath the soil. Around 20 million years ago, the Mount Tamborine plateau was created as a result of rare volcanic activity, priming the land with rich basalt topsoil. Enriched with minerals as precious as gold, this amazing deep orange soil, combined with good drainage is a perfect catalyst for deep root growth, drought resilience and high quality fruits. The vineyard is comprised of 5.5 acres of Merlot & Petit Verdot and will yield a 15 tonne fruit capacity at full harvest. The location is 500m above sea level, and only 20 minutes from the coast in sub-tropical temperate rainforest.

The most encouraging aspect to date is the quality of the wines produced at Aussie Vineyards.

Our Granite Belt wines have produced many award winning wines including Overall Champion Wine, Champion Red Wine, Best Dry Red Wine & numerous Silver and Bronze awards. Receiving these awards from Australia’s most distinguished Wine Shows is a great accomplishment and demonstrates the incredible potential of the Granite Belt and South Eastern Australia region. In addition to these awards Aussie Vineyards won Best of Show in the Wine Packaging and Design class at the 2007 Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits Competition. The same Limestone Coast also earned a Bronze in the taste test as well as the 2003 Barossa Shiraz.

Enjoy the unique bold and rich characteristics of Aussie Vineyards wine amongst family and friends at your next social gathering. Our wines will compliment a wide range of food types and ethnic cuisine so why not coat your palate with these intense flavours!
