Tamborine Mountain Vineyard & Winery

Mount Tamborine Vineyard & Winery is equally famous for all our different styles of wine - Red, White and our delicious Fortified Wines. The wines that we continue to produce every year are our Tehembrin Merlot, our Black Shiraz, our lovely dry blends of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and our French Oak Chardonnay. However fortified lovers come back over and over for our Ruby Port, our hugely popular Chocolate Port, the Bronze Medal winning Show Reserve Muscat and Queensland style Rum Port.
Please peruse our latest lines available from our site and currently on tasting in our Cellar Door.

Our latest Medal winners are now available for tasting and purchase from our Cellar Door and in the "go shopping" section of our web site!
We have started vintage this year, our Chardonnay picking started Tuesday 10th Feb - looking great - we are very excited about the flavours we are seeing already.

Mount Tamborine Vineyards and Winery was originally established by Roger Hart in 1990. The French provincial style winery was designed by Roger and is located at Ballandean in the Granite Belt. It is the location of the vineyards comprising of 68 acres of Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Vintage occurs from February to April each year and the vineyard is widely respected in the region for producing top quality wine grapes.

We do not believe in buying in grapes from anywhere as we have the luxury of having complete control of the entire process of the grapes life - from the initial pruning, to the growth period to harvest. This year vintage will be early, due to the ripeness of our Chardonnay grapes.

It was Roger's goal to develop a regional centre that encompassed exceptional Wine & Food. We are moving closer to our aim of providing the ultimate cuisine and fine wine experience by combining exceptional fresh local produce with our award winning Queensland wines.
Bottom line - We love wine - and we believe all wine has merit. Each bottle has a minimum of a year of a wine maker - & viticulturists life in it and deserves our respect and we believe in making wine to drink & enjoy now. We hope you enjoy drinking our wines as much as we enjoy growing & making them!
